
I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Zurich. My research is supported by an Ambizione grant from the Swiss National Science Foundation.
My research interests include e.g. migration; cultural and religious diversity; political extremism; social taboos, loneliness and sociability; love; end-of-life care; family ethics; and medical ethics. My work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Applied Philosophy; Politics, Philosophy and Economics; Journal of Medical Ethics; Bioethics; Ethical Theory and Moral Practice; Criminal Law & Philosophy, Human Rights Review; Kennedy Institute of Ethics Journal; Ethnicities; Journal of Controversial Ideas; Moral Philosophy and Politics; Res Publica; Journal of Bioethical Inquiry; and Medicine, Health Care and Philosophy.
I was previously a postdoctoral fellow at Umea University (Sweden) and the KU Leuven (Belgium) with a grant from the Swedish Research Council (2018-00679) and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Göttingen (Germany). Prior to that, I studied political science (PhD, MRes, European University Institute); philosophy (MPhil, St Andrews; MA, King's College London); and Arts and Culture (BA, Maastricht University). In 2015, I was a visiting student research collaborator at Princeton University.
